My Story: Why Wellness Coaching Matters to Me
Wellness coaching is more than a career for me—it’s the thread that has woven together the last 25 years of my life. I didn’t choose this path overnight. It grew from years of learning, listening, working with people one-on-one, and witnessing how even small shifts in daily habits can completely transform someone’s health, confidence, and quality of life.
I began my journey in the fitness space as a personal trainer, eager to help people feel stronger and more capable in their bodies. Over the years, I learned something invaluable: people don’t only need workouts—they needed support, understanding, and someone who could help them see the bigger picture of their health. Strength wasn’t only physical; it was emotional, mental, and deeply connected to lifestyle.
That realization pushed me to expand my knowledge beyond the gym. I became a health coach, then a hormone health coach, and eventually built a toolbox that blended movement, nutrition, mindset, stress management, and daily habits. I spent countless hours studying, practicing, and refining what truly works in real life—not just in theory.
What matters most to me is that wellness is never one-size-fits-all. It’s personal. It’s shaped by our seasons of life, our stress, our routines, and our goals. And in every session—whether I’m coaching someone through a health challenge, guiding a nutrition conversation, or designing a corporate wellness program—I bring all of those years of experience to help people feel supported, capable, and empowered.
After 25 years in this industry, I’ve worked with clients of all ages, backgrounds, and health needs. I’ve seen transformations that happen slowly and quietly, and I’ve seen moments of breakthrough that change everything in an instant. But what inspires me most is witnessing people discover that they can feel better—that they are stronger, more resilient, and more in control of their wellbeing than they ever realized.
Wellness coaching is important to me because it allows me to share everything I’ve learned with others in a meaningful way. It’s a chance to help someone find balance in their hectic workweek, to support a parent trying to prioritize their own health again, or to guide a team toward healthier habits that ripple into the culture of their workplace.
